The stars looked perfect against the dark canvas of the sky, the pull of the planet below her too light to be noticed significantly. There were no clouds in the atmosphere here, at limbo, between the Earth’s surface and that beyond its gravitational pull. The Seeker had her hands placed outward, keeping her balanced in the almost zero gravity environment, the rockets on her back and feet staying at minimal power as if to test the planet’s power.
One movement would push her farther out to space, or would send her spiraling down to the planet’s surface. But this stance she held was perfect; she would neither rise nor fall any more than she was currently.
     Khronos was at peace.
All her fears, sorrows, anger, and bitterness disappeared the moment she had arrived to this point. Her body was a satellite, orbiting the precious blue sphere below her at a pace she would normally consider painstaking but now became calming.  Nothing stood between her and this paradise.
Her mind wandered, opening up cautiously to allow the thoughts of the inhabitants of Earth to fill her mind. At first it was chaotic, a never-ending stream of screaming static noise, until she forcibly concentrated it to a single stream of thought. Then suddenly, the ceaseless disarray corrected itself and made it seem that Khronos was in a large marketplace, with billions of voices surrounding her, none too loud or obnoxious to stir the commotion.
The multitude of emotions and memories from this ‘marketplace’ gave Khronos an exact location to the thoughts’ owners, allowing her to see—if only for one millisecond—how humanity had crumbled since her last visit. With each of these pinpoints settling into her mind’s internal map of the planet, she turned her attention to that of her own kind, though comrades they were not: the Autobots.
Confusion settled on their minds, but was hidden away by the enthrallment they held for one another, especially toward the children. Her head turned to face the direction of their collective emotions, blocking out the other creatures’ to focus in on what was going on.
She didn't dare intrude on their ‘personal space’ nor give up their base’s location so easily to the Decepticons; the only thing the Archaic wished to do was to feel what they did, smile when they did, love as they did. Her life held nothing for her now, knowing her place in this universe.
The Archaic Seeker was simply a mediator of wars, to make sure no balance was ever lost that would imminently destroy the Cybertronian race, as well as that of whoever else was caught in the middle. Her destiny was to keep the perfect balance of life and death at hand, to make sure no one would rise or fall without her permission.
Written at school, I just wanted to write a little drabble about Khronos.

This takes place in the Prime Universe, about halfway through season two, just before Smokescreen shows up.

Enjoy?

Huh, so she is a Decepticon who wants balance? With that said, would she be willing to snuff out other Decepticons or fight alongside the Autobots if it meant balance?
